The Ministry Need

First Congregational Church Flagler was looking for its next Pastor, someone who could serve as a spiritual leader, teacher, and shepherd while becoming an active part of the church and the wider Flagler community.

FCC was looking for more than someone who could lead Sunday services. The church wanted a pastor who could provide biblical preaching and pastoral care, invest in discipleship, develop volunteers, and build meaningful relationships across generations.

Strengthening ministry with youth and younger generations was also an important part of the church’s vision. At the same time, FCC wanted to continue serving its multigenerational congregation and encouraging people to grow deeper in their faith and involvement in the church.

First Congregational Church Flagler is a welcoming, Christ-centered congregation in Flagler, Colorado.

The church desires to be a place of “being and belonging” for both its congregation and the wider community. Located along the I-70 corridor on Colorado’s Eastern Plains, Flagler is a close-knit, family-oriented community where relationships and community involvement are an important part of everyday life.
